Labyrinth at Pentecost 2018
A labyrinth was set up over the weekend of 19th & 20th of May, and we were blessed with really beautiful weather. This time our labyrinth was in a garden with the centre of it under the shade of the apple trees. We were encouraged to use it any time over the weekend and people did, walking early morning and in the cool of the evening.
There was a small basket of suggested prayers that we could use. Alternatively we could pick up a pebble or shell and use this on our contemplative journey, bringing our problem before the Lord or thanking Him for a blessing.
Feedback from the labyrinth has been wonderful, people found it really useful. One of the interesting things was when you thought that you may have reached the middle you were faced with another gentle incline to climb. Our spiritual journeys are never straight forward, are they!
